NOTE: The fuses are investigated for use only as components in electrical and electronic equipment where the suitability of the final combination is to be determined.

MARKING:

All marking required by CSA must be permanent, legible and located on the component or on the smallest packaging and will include:

submittor's identification (company name, CSA Registered Trademark or CSA file number;
model designation or equivalent;
additional markings as may be required by the applicable Standards and Notices;
ampere rating is the minimum marking that must appear on the fuse;
date code, indicating the period of manufacture, marked on the packaging;
ampere rating, voltage rating, ac or dc, short circuit interrupting ratings marked on the smallest packaging unit;
Test limiters are marked on the device: "Test Limiter", with fuse class, ampere and voltage rating, assigned test current rating and the words "This is not a fuse".
