COVERAGE:
Indirect Water Heater. A closed vessel in which water is heated by an external
source of hot water not exceeding a temperature of 210 F. The heated water in the vessel
is withdrawn for use external to the vessel at pressures not exceeding 160 psig. The
indirect water heater includes the means to control the flow of the external heat source
water and all controls and devices necessary to prevent the stored water temperature from
exceeding 210°F.
