Luminaires, which do not fall under more specific categories, such as display-lighting, area or floodlighting or spotlighting, bathroom cabinet luminaires and similar devices, using any of the various types of light sources such as incandescent (including tungsten-Halogen), fluorescent, high-intensity discharge, etc.
All luminaires are listed by model designation.
The following abbreviations may be used in the listing of these luminaires:
Inc - incandescent
Fluor - fluorescent
HPS - high-pressure sodium
LPS - low-pressure sodium
MH - metal-halide
MV - mercury-vapour
TH - tungsten-halogen
A letter following the lamp wattage denotes the lamp type designation for incandescent lamps (e.g. 60A denotes a 60 watt Type A incandescent lamp).

The Certified equipment appearing in this classification is judged to comply with the requirements of the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NEC).
In addition, equipment intended for display, sale or use in the USA is required to include other information such as warning statements, installation instructions, etc., as may be specified in the NEC.
