COVERAGE:
Positive temperature coefficient (PTC) type thermistors for use as overcurrent protectors in electronic equipment.

Notes:

The components are investigated for use only as components in electrical and electronic equipment where the suitability of the final combination is determined by CSA International.
Limited Short Circuit: Current through the device shall be limited to the maximum rated current by mounting method and electrical connection in the circuit.

MARKING:
All marking required by CSA must be permanent, legible and located on the component or on the sleeve/smallest packaging. The contents consists of:

model designation or equivalent;

date code: The date or a date code indicating the period of manufacture, marked on the packaging.
